- David J. Snelgrove, P. Eng., Superintendent YRSB Plant Services, Director SCW Canada
David Snelgrove is Superintendent of Plant Services for the York Region District School Board. He is responsible for the facility operations of over 200 schools that accommodate approximately 110,000 students. As a civil engineer, David believes that his 27 years of experience in the design and construction of school facilities combined with work experience in East Africa early in his career, is a good combination for supporting school design and construction in Honduras. He believes that professionals like him should be giving back to less fortunate countries in the world so that they can raise their literacy levels and thereby help them to raise their standard of living for themselves and their children. David believes that every child deserves an opportunity to learn and with the provision of schools in rural Honduras, more opportunities will be made available to these children than would otherwise be the case.
“ Education can make a positive difference in the life of each child.” Dave Snelgrove. |
